The versatile GAMMEX rmi® (“GAMMEX”) 473 Planar IMRT Phantom (“GAMMEX 473”) simplifies
verification of intensity modulated radiation therapy treatment plans.
GAMMEX 473 is composed of aligned stacks of
GAMMEX 457 Solid Water®. A clamping mechanism holds them in place to maximize reliability and
flexibility.
GAMMEX 473 works within the protocol of numerous
plans. It performs
with various film types, including radiochromic, Ready Pack, and their
equivalents. Axial, sagittal, or coronal orientations secure the film in one to
eight cm increments. Each slab includes convenient fiducial filmmaking
“holes.” A leveling base with two adjustment screws and a bubble level simplify
set-up and use.
GAMMEX 473 includes several accessory choices
including a Mini Film Stack insert and a durable carrying case. Slabs fitted
with ion chambers or MOSFETs are also available in a Mini Film Stack on a custom
basis.
